Kenya Kids: Child Sponsorship in Kisii, Kenya
Kenya Kids is the child sponsorship ministry of Bogetenga Children's Home in Kisii, Kenya. Known to many of our supporters as Johnny's Kids, the ministry connects sponsors with orphaned and vulnerable children who need a safe home, daily meals, and an education.
Every sponsorship is supported in partnership with Common Ground Church in Calais, Maine. For $35 a month, you give one child food, school, shelter, and the hope of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of this story are Police Officer and Pastor Ronald Ogake and his wife Gertrude.
With deep compassion and unwavering faith, they opened not only their hearts but also their small mud home to orphaned and vulnerable children. What began as a simple act of love became a place of safety, hope, and belonging.
They saw children in need and chose to step in… to provide not just shelter, but family.
Today, their mission continues to grow, giving each child the opportunity to be loved, protected, and given a real chance at a better future.
